Open House<\/h2>\n

Last year’s Open House attracted over 2, 000 happy visitors of all ages who looked at the emergency vehicles, had a seat in the airplane, and hit the target with the fire hose!<\/p>\n

The Blue Lights & Emergency response-themed day, invited actors such as the Police, Ambulance, Rescue Services and the Armed Forces. As usual, the Flight Club and the Parachute Club were on site and SAR offered visitors to step inside the rescue helicopter.<\/p>\n

A packed day tha we hope to make even better this year!<\/p>\n

Skydiving<\/h2>\n

On the other side of our runway, you will find the Sk\u00e5nes Parachute Club, one of Sweden’s oldest parachute clubs. If daring enough, you can book a tandem jump here; or a course to learn to jump on your own!
\nIf you prefer to stay on the ground, you can settle down in the Sprill Caf\u00e9 with a coffee and enjoy the view of parachutes landing in from a safe distance.<\/p>\n

The flying club<\/h2>\n

Kristianstads Flygklubb has its base just north of the tarmac at Kristianstad \u00d6sterlen Airport. KRFK’s members organize lots of fun and interesting activities all year round. With their three planes, they offer training, travel, and free flight. They also carry out so-called fire flights on behalf of KSAK to detect forest fires. A very important work that is of great help to the emergency services.<\/p>\n
